We are Wendy and Ian. In 2012 we sold our caravan and bought a Mercedes Sprinter van which we converted into a campervan, You can find out all about it here. We sold the van 4 years later and returned to caravanning. In the summer of 2018 we sold the caravan in preparation for our house move later in the year. By February 2020 we were ready to get back on the road again, We toyed with the idea of buying and converting another van. Unsure of whether or not either of us had the time to commit to this we decided to buy a motorhome instead. Having always loved the A Class vans and having been inspired by Our Tour we made the decision to buy a Hymer.

After some searching of the internet and joining the Classic Hymer Facebook Group we found Ikonic Kampers and before we knew it we were the owners of Hylda the Hymer.

Just after we purchased Hylda we found ourselves in the middle of a Global Pandemic. Hylda was too long for our drive and was stored outwith our area, making it impossible to visit her. In April 2021 we made the decision to sell her. She went back to Ikonic Kampers and we purchased a Fiat Ducato conversion. We’ve been touring in Fiat Di Campo since May 2021 and we’ve been touring with Lola, our miniature Pinscher vandog, since June 2024.
