Sunny Glenmore on Loch Morlich

We’ve returned to the campsite at Glenmore. We were last here in February when it was -5C and snowy. It was lovely then and it’s nice and sunny and a lot warmer now, if a little windy.
We explored the forest and Loch Morlich as well as walking some of the Old Logging Way through the forest up to the national outdoor centre.
It’s a nice site with the Pine Marten Lodge a short walk from the site for drinks and dinner. We even got a table this time! The food was nice and the staff were very friendly.
There is a visitor centre across the road opposite the campsite and there’s some interesting history relating to the links to Norway.
I went looking for the beavers again. I saw lots of their work but not them. Maybe next time…

  1. Looks like a brilliant few days—Glenmore and Loch Morlich are hard to beat, especially when the weather plays along.

I’m doing some market research for a WordPress hosting project—have you had any issues with your current setup (like slow uploads, downtime, or managing posts on the go), or has it been pretty smooth overall?

  2. Thanks for your comment Gavin. Yeah, Glenmore is a nice place.

I’ve been using WordPress for a while on multiple sites. It’s been working well and I haven’t really experienced any problems. I’ve been using it at home with broadband and whilst touring in the van with Starlink.
